| 圜源 Emerging & Returning 4/13(Sat.) 15:00、19:30 覓空間 MEME 台北市羅斯福路2段9號12樓 12F., No.9, Sec. 2, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City | 兩場內容不同 4/13(Sat.) 15:00 獨舞, 結合行為和舞踏, 噪聲是在我們腦中.. 音樂二重奏組結合傳統印度塔布拉鼓和現代電子鼓機與人聲`電子音樂互動環繞著裝置浮動紙噴泉。 4/13(Sat.) 19:30 我們的基本概念來自於自然，及大都會已經成為人類的新現代自然。對我們城市裡的人，畢竟什麼是有機生態?這些看似無機的紙張卻密密麻麻地充滿有機生命的痕跡。在所謂的世界末日後，我們仍然面臨著水源短缺種種問題。它的源頭到底在哪裡？ 生命四元素是由地、水、火、風所構成的，這四元素是人類經驗到的一切事物的構成元素，甚至是意識體的動力能量來源。而這四元素中，莫過於水火、 陰陽二元素的對立性，消長之間形成了火化生成風（陽）、水化生為地（陰）的一個循環不己的世界觀。此作 『圜源』,其音也等於還原, 象徵著返回原有的生態、本性, 回到我們原始心靈精神的自然景觀。那麼不僅有機的人體，即便無機的紙張耗料也可以自然地流過它, 像瀑布一樣的攜帶著水滴的智慧; 這個人造的城市瀑布下,我們將用誠實的身體和它互動，感覺並連接地球上的一切無形的心跳脈輪, 跳動出新現代自然的生命圜源之樂舞。 預告宣傳片 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7WwI_hqVe4&feature=youtu.be Our basic concept is from Nature, and the New Modern Nature from those who lives in the metropolis. To the city people, what is a organic way of life? These are seemingly inorganic paper but filled with organic life traces. In the socalled the aftermath of the end of the world, we still face the shortages of water resources and many other kinds of problems. What exactly is its sources? The Four Elements is formed by Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind. These Four Elements are not only the basis for Astrology and every philosophy、 metaphysics, but also the fundamental element for everything human beings experience, even to the motivating energy resources for our awareness of the body. In the ancient times, many early documents around the world have mentioned this concept. These Four Elements starts with Water and Fire, like the polarity of Yin and Yang. Between the growth and decline process, fire progressed into Wind (Yang), and water metamorphosis into earth (Yin). Repeating their cycles to form the principles that made up this world. This piece “Emerging & Returning”, in Chinese it sounds like “Returning to its sources”, symbolizes to go back to the original ecology, way of being, and our primordial inner spirit natural landscape. In doing so, not only will we have organic human existence, but even the inorganic thing like paper or trash can also naturally flow through it, like the waterfall that carries the wisdom of the water drops. And then our city (Taipei) will not be like the artist Kuei-Chih Lee described, ”a place where every day 24 hours drown in endless information, a city which overall sensory experiences can loose its balance ” Under this artificial city waterfall, we will use our honest body to interact with it, feel it while connecting it with the invisible heartbeats of everything on earth, and dance the dance of emerging and returning life for the New Modern Nature. |

She has choreographed and performed for San Francisco International Butoh Festival, San Francisco HumanSewingMachine Performance Group, Christina Braun Butoh Collective (Theatre Yugen), and Marsh Theatre International Performance and Video Festival. Activity inside Taiwan includes: Guerrilla (One Night Band), Metamorphosis(Studio 2224), 2011/2012HIAW International Artist Workshop (Art Institute at Donghwa University). Tony Huang Graduate of Materials Science and Engineering of National Taiwan University, now a professional dancer for Legend Lin Dance Theatre Company Taiwan. In 2008 Tony initiateed the “Five Year Project” creative dance group with Taiwan University Modern Dance Club Alumni, and participated many times in the choroegraphies and performances of The Taipei International Fringe Festival, experimentng interactive movement-dialogues in different spaces. In 2009 his collaborative-choreography work “Travel Around My House” has won the Best Use of Space Team Award. With 2008 entering the Lengend Lin Dance Theatre Company Taiwan till now, Tony has danced numerous danceworks and toured Hong Kong, Beijing, Europe, and Brazil. From 2012 he has officially joined DADADAiii, and together participated HWIA International Artist Workshops' performance, experimenting while creating unexpected unique performance works. Olifa Hsieh Born in Taiwan. Olifa’s musicmaking cross from classical music to contemporary improvisations: her soundscape is simple and yet radiates warmth, attempting to build a new language between body, vision and sound. She holds a masters degree from the Graduate Institute of Musicology, National Taiwan University, and travels extensively in India and Pakistan for music research and practice. she is the recipient of the 2012 Wanderer Project by Cloudgate Dance Company Taiwan.
